This project provides a riding mower for trail maintenance. The Steel Valley Trail Council manages and maintains nine miles of trail. Prior to receiving this grant, they had only a small walk behind mower to do the mowing. It was only 21 inches wide so many passes had to be made to cut the trail shoulders. This grant from the Trail Volunteer Fund supports purchase of a riding mower to be used by volunteers for maintenance of the trail.
